Mun Tae-seo, Head of the Righteous Army

  • He, infuriated as the Eulsa Protectorate Treaty was signed, led 300 righteous soldiers to fight the Japanese at Deokyusan Mountain. He died in Gyeongseong Prison at the age of thirty-four after killing numerous Japanese soldiers in approximately 500 battles, including attacks on Jangsu Military Force and Yiwon Station.
